Lors du Conseil des ministres du 14 mai 2008, le ministre des affaires étrangères a présenté trois projets de loi autorisant l'approbation d'accords relatifs au transport aérien entre la France, d'une part, et l'Algérie, Macao et la Mongolie d'autre part. L'accord avec l'Algérie donne un cadre juridique pérenne aux liaisons aériennes entre les deux pays, et met fin au système d'autorisations administratives bisannuelles. Les accords avec
Macao et la Mongolie devraient permettre une exploitation de liaisons aériennes régulières.
