Dans un communiqué de presse en date du 21 décembre 2007, Le Conseil supérieur du notariat a constaté qu'était diffusé sur Internet un document présentant une "prétendue offre promotionnelle notariale d'un forfait pour un divorce". Ce document étant présenté sous la marque "notaires de France", le Conseil supérieur du notariat a porté plainte auprès du Procureur de la république de Paris pour faux et usage abusif de marque. Le Conseil supérieur du notariat rappelle que le projet de réforme annoncé par M. Woerth ne fait l'objet d'aucun texte ni d'aucun décret fixant le tarif d'une éventuelle intervention confiée aux notaires.

Présente vendredi 21 décembre 2007, au 23ème Forum de la Chambre nationale des huissiers de Justice, la garde des Sceaux, Rachida Dati, a annoncé l'extension de leurs moyens d'actions. Soulignant sa volonté de "dynamiser l'organisation territoriale de la profes sion d'huissier", la garde des Sceaux a estimé que l'organisation territoriale actuelle n'était pas satisfaisante, le cadre du tribunal d'instance étant trop restreint, représentant un frein au développement. Elle a par ailleurs confirmé que le décret du 11 mai 2007 étendant la compétence des huissiers au niveau du TGI sera applicable au 1er janvier 2009. Ils pourront également déposer dès 2008 leur demande de regroupement auprès des procureurs et les arrêtés de nominations seront publiés à partir du 1er janvier 2009.
